ICYMI, we just launched our new Styling Collection, featuring six high-performance stylers with 450°F heat & humidity protection. To celebrate, we had to show out with an iconic hair show and a vibey evening with our community.
The night began with guests gracing the Cécred white carpet, hosted by actor & comedian Kalen Allen.
After an opening speech by Cécred CEO Grace Ray, Founder Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Vice Chairwoman Ms. Tina Knowles took the stage to share the intentional vision behind the collection, highlighting how the products were developed to create signature looks that defied the elements of tour life. They then introduced the iconic hair show, choreographed by AuDrya Kelly in collaboration with the Debbie Allen Dance Academy.
From big-body, voluminous blowouts to intricate mullets and sculptural silhouettes, the hair show, overseen by Ms. Tina Knowles, featured boundary-pushing styles and artful yet definitive choreography. It was the ultimate testament to the collection, showing how the products help you body styles that last through the elements—and in this case, some truly iconic hairography.
The hair artistry was directed by Cécred Senior Director of Science and Education, Dr. Kari Williams, in collaboration with Dhairius Thomas, Kaye Dash, Lana Hunter, Rachel Lita, Antoine Martinez, Nicole Gibson, and Cécred Lead Global Stylist, Neal Farinah, with wardrobe by Brookelyn Styles.
And it isn’t a Cécred party without some cocktails & photo opps. Guests were invited to touch & feel the new collection, get a personalized hair profile, and snap photos with our larger-than-life factice mirrors. To fuel the night, we served up some delicious SirDavis cocktails, pizza from La Morra Pizzeria & warm cookies from Bake Some Noise.
