Transfer 0.5 oz - 2 oz of Oil Ritual to a heat-safe container. Place the heat-safe container in a warm water bath. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Apply the oil in sections along the scalp and towards the end of hair. Use your free hand to massage the oil into the scalp. If using at room temp, use a heated cap, sit under a hooded dryer, or apply steam directly for 10-15 minutes for deeper penetration. Rinse hair thoroughly and follow with Hydrating Shampoo.

For fine, thin, and low density hair types, use .05 oz. For dense, long hair use 1-2 oz.

Do not use the Oil Ritual while in extensions, weaves, or wigs bonded with any type of adhesive or synthetic wigs, synthetic weaves, or synthetic extensions.

We do not recommend leaving the Oil Ritual treatment on overnight. While it’s deeply nourishing, it’s designed to be used as a concentrated treatment for 10–15 minutes—either at room temperature or heated—for optimal penetration and performance. For best results, follow the recommended usage time and rinse thoroughly before continuing your routine.

For the best results, we recommend applying Oil Ritual before washing your hair. This allows you to thoroughly cleanse the treatment out afterward. If you’d like to use it post-wash, just be sure to shampoo again to remove any residue.
