I wrote a previous update when I first tried the protein ritual and wanted to provide an update. I’ve been using almost the whole line since everything dropped. My main focus with Cécred was length retention, and I think I achieved just that! I’ve used the treatment 4 times so far and just purchased my second box. I have goals to be waist length by the end of 2026 and with Cécred, I’m not worried about achieving that goal! For reference, Ive been using everything except the Reconstructing Mask for the past 9 months in my routine!

The proof is in the pudding. I have low porosity, low density 4c hair and even though I take care of my hair, I have always struggled with breakage and excessive shedding. After one use of the rice and rose water treatment, I saw a significant decrease of hair loss on wash day. See the picture for comparison (the larger hair ball is the amount I shed on a wash day before using Cecred, the smaller hair ball is one week later after I used Cecred). I will definitely be making it a staple in my routine.

I have 4c kinky/coily fine hair. I’ve been using the full Cecred line for more than six months now. I love the whole line but this review is specifically for the protein treatment. I started using the protein treatment because I was having issues retaining my length. The treatment made a HUGE difference. I always maintained a regular trim schedule but I still kept having straggly ends. Introducing this treatment into my hair routine has changed that.
I can see the visible results. The first photo is my hair before the protein treatments. My ends are more see through. The second photo is my hair after 2 treatments. At that point I saw a visible difference. The third photo is after my third treatment. My ends are no longer see through and I think this will allow me to better retain my length. This product is worth the money. I use it every 2-3 months and I follow the instructions exactly. I tend to follow up my protein treatments with the froze deep conditioners from Naturall Club even after I do the Cecred line conditioners because my hair loves getting a LOT of conditioner after the treatment.
Long story short, buy this.

Most of us know about the benefits of rice water, but fermenting it yourself at home is no easy feat because of the smell. Cécred hacked the cheat code with adding rose because it smells absolutely wonderful!
