"My Crazy Hair–It’s Who I Naturally Am”

Tell us about your hair. 

“My hair is definitely a part of me. It's something that people will use to describe who I am, which I really feel like is special. I feel lucky to be a rare shade of hair color.”

What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself about your hair?

"I would say to a younger version of myself to embrace the things that make you different, instead of trying to dream of how you could correct them, and to love yourself for standing out in any way you can.”

What’s your version of self-love? 

"Once I stopped comparing myself to what I thought I should be and looking at other people for a standard of beauty, there was a huge shift in my life where I started to love the things about me that are different, instead of like trying to force them to be different. Like whether it was my freckles or my teeth or my crazy hair, I learned that those are the things that are going to make me somebody else at the end of the day, and it'll bring the right people to me that actually love me for who I naturally am."
