"People Say When You’re Older, You Should Have Shorter Hair. I Don’t Think That’s True."

Tell us about your hair right now.

“Right now, my hair is pretty carefree. I don't have to color it. I do take care of it. To me, it's just me being more authentic.”

When did you fall in love with your hair?

“I really felt that, when I was coloring it, I just didn't feel as authentic, especially as time went on. I'm getting older, and I just want to feel more like myself, and grow it long. I don't have to necessarily keep it short. I know people say that when you're older, you should have shorter hair, but I don't think that's true.”

What would you say to your younger self?

“I would say, just be confident in anything you do. Even though you may think that was not the best look for you, it probably wasn't too bad.”
