A blend of PhytoFerment and manuka oil soothes and nourishes the scalp, while our African oil blend moisturizes parched hair. The treatment is also infused with peppermint oil for a cooling effect. How to Use

Oil Ritual can be used at room temperature or heated for a deeper treatment.

Heated Instructions: Transfer 0.5 oz - 2 oz of Oil Ritual to a heat-safe container. For fine, thin, and low density hair types, use .05 oz. For dense, long hair use 1-2 oz. Place the heat-safe container in a warm water bath. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Feel first before using; oil should be warm, not hot.

WARNING: Do Not Microwave Bottle or Oil.

1.Gently apply the oil in sections along the scalp and towards the end of hair. Use your free hand to massage the oil into the scalp.
2. Once all hair is coated, cover with a plastic cap and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
3. Pro Tip: Use a heated cap, sit under a hooded dryer, or apply steam directly for 10-15 minutes for deeper penetration.
4. Rinse thoroughly.
5. Follow with Hydrating Shampoo.

    Nothing much different from other oils

    It's a decent oil product. The smell is somewhat medicinal and herby. I don't see a major difference between it and other herbal oils I've purchased in the past. This reviewer received something in exchange for this review.

    Wonderful

    Out of all the products I was most excited to receive in the protection collection, it was the hair ritual. I followed the instructions and placed two ounces of oil in to the oil warmer and placed it in a warm water bath. I was a bit skeptical about shampooing it out as the instructions stated. I’ve never rinsed out oil from my hair and figured washing it out would defeat the whole purpose. Boy was I wrong. My hair soaked up the oil almost immediately. I thought that shampooing it out would take all of the moisture out, but even after, it was just as moisturized. I Love the smell and the 1-2 ounces of oil suggested was all that I needed. A little goes a long way. It’s been 5 days and my hair still feels amazing. I will definitely be repurchasing. Thank you so much Cécred for your commitment to healthy hair and scalp.

    A little goes a long way.

    I love the product. The bottle did appear to be black, not blue/ lapis. I think it was hot in delivery? Idk. But I love the treatment, the smell and feel are great. I definitely used too much in my first process. I’m thinking I only need a tiny amount.

    don't just walk RUN

    get this product it smells so amazing it is lightweight and not to heavy in the hair it helped heal my scalp and regrow my daughters missing patch i'm not sure if the ingredients but they smell holistic healthy and divine! This reviewer received something in exchange for this review.

    So as a black woman I grew up doing hot oil treatments on my hair before every wash. It was hard for me to find hot oil treatments living in Eastern Pennsylvania for several reasons. I was so happy to receive this. I wet my hair, then put it on every part. Massaged it in and sat under the dryer. Felt like that every 2 week ritual from when I was little. My hair was so soft, scalp wasn't dry And itchy anymore. Definitely looking forward to finding this in stores. This reviewer received something in exchange for this review.
