To begin, I did receive the moisture sealing lotion for free in exchange for my review, but my experience is 100% authentic. This product surprised me in a good way! I used this on fresh product-free air-dried hair to ensure that I was able to gauge the true moisturizing abilities of the product. Before applying this product my curls were very frizzy and lacked definition from being so dry. As soon as I applied the moisturizer to my hair I could tell that it was indeed bringing much needed moisture to my curls. The consistency of the product isn't so heavy that it weighs my curls down, but also isn't so light that it does nothing for my hair. I was able to achieve great curl definition with only this product! Normally, I would have to follow up with a styling gel or mousse product to see great curl definition after using a moisturizer. The only potential con I can see for this product is the fragrance in it. While I found it not too overwhelming (I actually love the smell of it), I could see someone maybe being more sensitive to it than me. Overall, I would recommend this product to fellow curlies and coilies! For reference my hair is 3c/4a curl type mix.

Cécred took over this past Sunday honey but it was worth it. This moisture sealing lotion after that sexy deep conditioner had me feeling expensive. I was sipping green tea from my panda mug like I had gold in my tooth. I became a delicate butterfly and my hair didn’t shrink and dry up when I stepped outside in the Georgia heat. Think I heard a gnat say “girl what you use in here? I’m gone lay down for a few.”
We sat down and I told her “it’s Cécred mama.”
Yes. It was a good day. I took pictures because when your hair looks this good you have to pop out and show ninjas. I’m currently touching my soft twist and listening to Ali Farka Touré & Toumani Diabate. If you don’t know who that is step ya game up. Play on Sunday when you wash your hair and enjoy your Cécred time.

This is an excellent moisture lotion. It is weightless, has a pleasant scent, and leaves my hair soooo soft. I can even use it with my silk press styles and it doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy. Most moisturizing lotions if you keep layering over top of each other will leave your hair sticky and stiff…not this baby! This stuff has added the needed moisture back into my hair -that my silk press is actually lasting longer! And I live in Florida (enough said).

We live in Florida where humidity is king. This is the first product I’ve used that actually made a difference. I used this line on my daughter and this is my 2nd favorite product. It’s amazing for dry styling. I used this in combination with the oil and loved the results!!
