No, our patent-pending Bioactive Keratin Ferment is a a fermentation made from Lactobacillus, bioactive keratin peptides, and honey that helps replace, repair, and strengthen broken protein in weak or damaged hair. 95% of hair’s structure is made up of keratin, a naturally occurring structural protein that’s essential for healthy hair.
A Keratin treatment is a chemical process that is sealed in with heat. Our technology has no relation to this process.
Is the Foundation Collection suitable for protective styles?
Yes! Even when your hair is in a protective style, your hair needs the reconstructing, hydrating and fortifying benefits of the Foundation collection. Maintaining a healthy scalp with any protective style is still crucial. We also recommend using our shampoos, conditioners, and any treatments on your hair before installing a protective style or after removing a protective style to experience the maximum benefits of the products.
