Following the devastating wildfires in January, our hearts have been heavy and go out to our community and hometown of Los Angeles. In response, the Cécred team, together with our philanthropic partner, BeyGOOD, has focused on providing immediate relief to those impacted.
We’re honored to be able to give back and uplift our community. Here’s a peek into what we’ve done so far:
In celebration of Cécred’s first anniversary on February 20th, the team hosted a community hair service day at Borner’s Barber College in Pasadena. Stylists, along with our Lead Global Stylist Neal Farinah, provided free salon services and a safe space for those who have been displaced to rest, relax, and get their hair done. Guests were also gifted a Cécred care package filled with haircare essentials.

Cécred also partnered with Extended Beauty Bar to host a community hair service day in late January, offering complimentary services, such as wash & styles, blowouts, extension revivals, treatments, and trims. Follow @extendedbeautybar on Instagram for details on upcoming community hair service days later this year.
As for the salon community, Cécred has always been committed to giving back to the stylists who give the most. The team has been helping rebuild professional kits for stylists who have lost products, tools, and salon supplies.

BeyGOOD has also committed $2.5 million to directly support families who lost their homes, as well as to church and community centers addressing the needs of displaced residents. Cécred worked quickly to give direct donations to these residents by delivering personal care products in partnership with Briogeo, Dae, Ouai, Sienna Naturals, Smashbox, and Youth to the People.
Cécred is grateful and honored to be able to partner with salons, providing a space where impacted guests can relax and receive complimentary salon services. Our hearts are with LA and we’re committed to supporting our community during this critical time.
